Sean Larkin

Sean Larkin

Job title: Business Principal, Chartered Financial Planner, Chartered Wealth Manager, Trust and Estate Practitioner.

Qualifications: Fellow of The Personal Finance Society, Chartered Financial Planner, Chartered Wealth Manager , STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners)Diploma in Estates and Trusts.

About Sean: 

Sean Larkin is a Business Principal at Fairstone Financial Management NI, the business that he set up with his colleague, Peter Savage.

He has a wealth of experience built up during his many years advising both private clients, SMEs and corporate clients.

Prior to setting up Fairstone Financial Management NI, Sean worked in the wealth management division of two major banks.

He specialises in providing pre and post retirement advice to include estate planning to both personal and SME clients, and has been trusted by many for his technical expertise.

His typical day is varied, with the majority of his time spent face-to-face with new and existing clients.

Sean is also a committee member of STEP N.Ireland and is currently the Chairman of his local primary school’s PTA. He is also responsible for the business development and recruitment for the firm.

Sean appears regularly in the press, as a specialist commentator on financial planning issues.

Peter Savage

Job title: Business Principal, Chartered Financial Planner

Qualifications: Chartered Financial Planner, holder of the Chartered Insurance Institute Business Financial Planning (AF2), Pension Planning (AF3) and Investment Planning (AF4) qualifications. Awarded Chartered MCSI qualification through the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment Institute.

About Peter:

Peter Savage is a Business Principal at Fairstone Financial Management NI, the business that he set up with colleague, Sean Larkin. He works predominantly within the investment planning and pre and post-retirement planning division and also advises the firm’s corporate clients on their employee benefit and group pension requirements.

Peter appears regularly in the national press, as a specialist commentator on financial planning issues.

About Adrian: 

Adrian has been an Independent Financial Adviser since 1997. He specialises in all aspects of personal and business financial planning, including investment planning.

He works closely with the local professional services community and specialises in providing financial planning advice to members of the medical profession.

Initially an accountant by profession, Trevor has worked in financial services since 1995 when he returned to the UK after living abroad for many years.

He specialises in investment advice, and pre and post-retirement planning advice. Trevor also provides financial planning advice to a number of local solicitors and accountants.

About Wanda:

Wanda has over 24 years’ experience of working in the financial services industry, having initially begun her career working for a major UK Bank as a Premier Manager and Mortgage adviser.

Here at Fairstone, she has a specialist role working in our mortgages and protection division.

She uses her in-depth knowledge and expertise to ensure that our clients’ lending requirements are fulfilled, in what is an ever-changing market.

Susan Barry

Susan Barry

Job title: Client Support Manager

Qualifications: CIP (1 & 2), CeMap

About Susy: 

Susy has worked in financial services since 1993 when she worked for a well-known local bank. She achieved the role of financial planner and specialised in protection, pensions and investments for personal clients.

Having been very successful in this role, Susy took on the role of project managing the merger of two large banking institutions, working to ensure a smooth changeover with as little disruption to clients as possible.

In 2007, she joined Fairstone Financial Management NI as client support manager and plays a vital role in assisting our advisers with their client development programmes.

Karen Scott

About Karen: 

Karen has always worked in the financial services sector and has over 25 years’ experience gained working with three different major banking institutions.

She puts this experience to very good use at Fairstone Financial Management NI in the important support role that she fulfils in the office for each of our advisers.

Karen assists with everything from day to day adviser support and handling all client queries and correspondence in order to ensure the effective running of the business.

David Stewart

David Stewart

Job title: Independent Financial Adviser

Qualifications: BSc (Mech Eng), Dip PFS

About David:

David has worked in financial services for 23 years, during which time he has built up a wealth of experience in investments and pensions.

He advises on all areas of finance for both personal and business clients.

Before joining Fairstone Financial Management NI in 2014, David was a financial adviser with the Bank of Ireland, and previously with Danske Bank. In these roles he developed strong relationships with many businesses.

Prior to entering the financial services industry, he graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast, where he attained a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, and a post-graduate qualification in Computer Science.

This led to an initial career in the oil exploration industry, working both onshore and offshore on oil rigs around the world, including the Arctic Circle where polar bears were a regular sighting!

About Michael: 

Michael is an experienced Financial Planner who specialises in the provision of financial planning advice for Mid-Career Doctors and GPs or Hospital Consultants planning for or already in retirement.

Michael understands the challenges faced by his clients on a professional as well as a personal basis.

His experience working with Doctors helps to provide a clear understanding of their current position and what actions they will need to adopt, in order to provide for the future they desire.

Karen is an Independent Financial Adviser at Fairstone Financial Management NI, and joined the firm from Ulster Bank, having previously worked at Danske Bank. She has gained over 20 years’ experience working in financial services.

Karen specialises in advising clients on a wide range of financial planning issues from protection, investments and inheritance tax (IHT) planning advice to pensions – both corporate and personal.

She acts for a wide variety of clients and is trusted adviser to corporate, retail and high net worth individuals across Northern Ireland. She has built up strong relationships with her clients helping them to achieve their goals and objectives with their investment and retirement needs.

Karen, has gained great experience helping clients protect their wealth through protection planning, including debt protection, family protection and estate planning.

Karen is looking forward to being able to do what she loves best,   and continue to build excellent client relationships at Fairstone NI over the coming years.

Seainin Campbell

Seainin is an Independent Financial Adviser who joined Fairstone Financial Management NI from Ulster Bank where, for ten years, she specialised in providing holistic financial planning advice to private, high net worth individuals, as well as corporate clients.

She advises clients in relation to the following financial planning issues:

About Paul:

Paul McCord is an Independent Financial Adviser who joined Fairstone Financial Management NI in 2016 from Ulster Bank, where he spent 7 years as a Specialist Financial Advice Manager.

Paul has particular expertise advising both private and corporate clients in relation to the following financial planning areas:

  • Corporate financial planning advice

Paul joined Fairstone, the UK’s largest Chartered financial planning firm, to allow him to provide his clients with truly independent and high quality financial advice.

About Raymond

Raymond Hart joined Fairstone Financial Management NI, having gained over 20 years’ experience working in financial services for Ulster Bank.

He specialises in providing high quality, holistic financial planning advice for both corporate and private clients.

He has particular expertise in advising in relation to investments, pensions, financial protection, inheritance tax planning (IHT) in addition to providing a full advice service to his corporate clients.

Raymond builds strong lasting relationships with clients, helping them with their investment portfolios and retirement planning.

This involves the combination of building new portfolios as well as closely managing existing ones to ensure his client’s goals will be achieved and exceeded where possible.

This helps his clients plan for a comfortable retirement through this pensions and investment advice in addition to estate planning advice.

He also assists his clients in protecting their wealth and circumstances through the use of financial protection plans, including life, critical illness and income protection insurance.

Being able to help his clients achieve their financial goals is what really drives Raymond

In his role here at Fairstone, he hopes to continue to build a client base with whom he can establish a long term relationship built around trust and integrity –that way he can help his clients to manage their finances effectively from now and through their retirement.
